This work (commissioned by Barung Landcare) was a large woven Eastern Tubenose Bat (endangered local species) woven from Cat’s Claw weed vines. It was used in Barung’s yearly expo to increase awareness about the problem of weeds and highlight endangered species. This sculpture was later installed at ‘The Dreaming Festival’ and other events.
